VR: Snowpiercer
The user finds themselves in a shelter, keeping them safe from the dystopian planet they are on. Again and again, there are mini-challenges they have to solve. Along the way, they find out more about where they are. Eventually they realize, that this is earth in the future. Through the challenges and plot, they get involved in a short story about what happened and how people in the future are living. This story also covers the destruction of the planet through climate change and non-sustainability.
AR: Museum
At their first canvas, the user observes the impact of climate change on the arctic. They can observe how it melts the ice and impacts the local wildlife. At their second canvas, they find themselves in what used to once be a beautiful oasis. As they drag the time slider forward, they are transported to present day. The oasis has dried out and left behind an arid desert.
